Q. I have a Craftsman table saw that my dad bought in the mid-1970s. It’s a 3.5-horsepower saw with a 10-inch blade. I use it all the time, and it works great. Can you tell me how old it is?

A. With limited information, we cannot specifically identify your table saw. Sears sold many different 10-inch table saws during the 1970s. However, we did find a catalog advertisement for a 10-inch, 3.5-horsepower table saw on page 18 of the 1978-79 Craftsman Power and Hand Tools catalog.
