Q. Last summer, I purchased a kitchen scale from a flea market. It is a watermelon-green color and a 1906 model, which is printed on the front of the dial along with "Sears, Roebuck and Co." Do you have any information on this scale?

A. We searched the 1906 catalogs for kitchen scales. We found scales on page 553 of the spring 1906 Chicago edition catalog. Hopefully, one of these scales matches the one you describe.
